In steam boilers, monitoring of in-boiler TDS (conductivity in direct proportion) is provided by conductivity electrodes, or blowdown is performed manually. However, it is necessary to take samples from the boiler water from time to time to check whether the boiler water conductivity value is measured correctly. If the boiler water is taken into an open container, some of the sample water taken will turn into flash steam, which is not a healthy method in terms of personnel safety and the possibility of measuring an accurate value is almost eliminated. For this reason, sampling from steam boilers should be done with a stainless sampling container, which is a closed and self-cooling equipment.
